October appears to have been a less competitive market for sellers overall with a slightly fewer average of days on the market*. The same amount of houses closed in October as in September (279). However, in September there were 110 more homes active on the market*. Homes sold in October remained for an average of 65 days, while in September they remained for an average of 67 days.
Middletown continues to be the town with the most active listings, most homes under contract, as well as most homes sold out of any other town in both months.
In October, the most expensive house sold in Marlboro for $3,400,000 while in September it was in Middletown for $5,500,000.
